In addition to the the RHC the RHC mission, values and doctrine,
We Believe:
- We should seek to communicate the gospel to our children in a comprehensible, age appropriate and applicable way. (1 Pet. 2:9)
- Values and ethics flow from our understanding of God as revealed in scripture. (Prov. 1:7, 1 Peter 1:15-16, 1 John 4:8)
- The family and the church play different and complementary roles in the discipleship of children:
- Parents are the most effective and primary means of discipling children and are called by scripture to do so. (Deut. 6:4-9, Eph. 6:4, 2 Tim. 1:1-7)
- The church should disciple, equip, and encourage parents in their primary role and providing qualified supplemental teaching and discipleship for our children. (Matt. 28:16-20)
- A fundamental aspect of discipleship for children is to watch and participate with their parents in corporate and family worship. (Deut. 6:4-7)
- In order to protect our children, the reputation of Christ and RHC, we must maintain a safe and accountable environment. (2 Cor. 5:20)
